With so much quality TV jostling for our attention, a perfectly worthwhile show can easily slip into obscurity nowadays. But for viewers who can bear to tear themselves away from Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad and Narcos a world of under-appreciated television awaits. We’ve trawled the nether reaches of Netflix, Amazon Prime etc to bring you the definitive countdown of below-the-radar telly worth a second glance.
Schitts Creek
Worth its place on our shortlist on the basis of its wickedly punning name alone. This Canadian family comedy was created by Eugene Levy (American Pie) and his son Daniel. Levy senior stars as a video store magnate thrown into poverty when an accountant absconds with his fortune. The family is reduced to living in the eponymous Schitt’s Creek, a one horse town which, back in their megabucks days, they bought as a joke.

Netflix is about to get Stranger.
Just ahead of Halloween, the highly-anticipated Stranger Things 2 is coming to the streaming service on Oct. 27. But before that, there are plenty of other titles creeping in: For example, David Fincher’s new Netflix series Mindhunter arrives this month.
A few other highlights include comedies Don’t Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood, Miss Congeniality, I Love You, Man and Patton Oswalt’s stand-up special. (Here’s the list of September shows.)

I’ve added a bunch of missing additional photos of Annie to the gallery from Schitt’s Creek, public appearances, and photo sessions.
There hasn’t been much to update on the meantime. No news on when Schitt’s Creek will be returning for season 4. I’ve been working on getting our partner site Dan Levy Fan online. It should be up in the next month or so. Enjoy!

According to Dan’s twitter season 4 of Schitt’s Creek has wrapped. No word on when the new season will premiere but I can’t wait. In the meantime you can rewatch the previous seasons on Netflix like I’m doing. haha.
I added screencaps of Annie’s appearance in the 2007 Lifetime movie No Brother Of Mine thanks to my friend Samantha.
Annie and Dustin (who plays Ted on Schitt’s Creek) both made the 2017 list for Canada’s Most Beautiful People. She looks lovely in the photograph and it’s no surprise she made the list. Tho I am a bit surprised Dan didn’t because he’s beautiful and a genius and seems like the most fun. Annie did a small interview with E! and you can watch that below.
Here’s the small excerpt written about her:
HOMETOWN Ottawa AGE 30 TOP MARKS On the latest season of Schitt’s Creek, her character, Alexis, earned her high school diploma. Annie’s already back on set shooting the fourth season with Eugene Levy and Catherine O’Hara STAR STRUCK “I met Chris Hadfield at Cirque du Soleil this past summer!” 2017 HIGHLIGHT “A trip that I would never recommend to anybody else: Copenhagen, Stockholm, Helsinki and Moscow in seven days” BEST THING ABOUT HER DAY JOB… “Being able to work with a bunch of incredible goofbrains every day is undoubtedly the highlight of my job. The downside is the handsome men and the pretty wardrobe”
